VCube Player/Recorder

In history, technologies are born, some have grown and some have disappeared. In the audio world hard disks have taken over from magnetic tape. At Merging Technologies, we believe that it is time for the video tape recorder to disappear. We had a look around for a replacement solution for our post-production customers and found nothing that fitted their specific requirements including ease of use, reliability, speed and compatibility in the digital jungle. That's why we have designed the VCube.

VCube Flavors

VCube which originally was only available as SD and HD Turnkey systems now exists in LE, XE and SE software only versions. LE is a basic player, XE is a player allowing rendering and SE is a player/recorder. The VCube LE/XE/SE Pro versions are shipped with our USBSync board to give TimeCode chase and Sync support on non-turnkey systems.
