 PYRAMIX V6.0 Native
 

The new Pyramix V6 Native configuration is a software only version of Pyramix that meet the needs of radio broadcasters, small post facilities, midi studios and CD mastering houses requiring a professional, but low cost, or portable solution to their audio recording, editing, mixing and mastering needs.  

You can now specify Pyramix Native in the same way as the main Pyramix system with the same application specific software packs for Post, Mastering, Music and Broadcast. 

 

Running on any suitable Windows® XP or Vista® desk-top or lap-top PC, as well as Mac Book Pro under Bootcamp/Windows, Pyramix Native retains all the real-time editing and mixing capabilities of Merging’s main Pyramix system and supports all the same audio formats including PMF, WAV, BWF, AIFF, OMF and CD Image files that can be mixed within the same project.  

All Pyramix Native configurations are fully upgradable to the MassCoreTM capabilities at any time.

 MERGING TECHNOLOGIES ISIS REMOTE CONTROL SURFACE
 

ISIS Remote Control Surface

Isis offers a fully user-definable tactile remote control surface for Pyramix editing, recording and mixing functions. Connected to Pyramix and/or VCube via Ethernet, Isis uses Merging's OASIS control protocol to give a very high resolution and high-speed communication to all functions.

The main Isis Remote Controller has dedicated keys for machine control, jog/shuttle and jog-wheel editing and the large LCD display offers 12 user-definable and multi-functional keys, which can be soft-labelled to give any number of user specific functions. All keys are completely user software assignable for total control.

For more advanced mixer control Isis has an optional Fader Expansion unit with a further 8 touch sensitive moving faders and rotary controls each with dedicated Solo, Mute and Read/Write automation keys.

Sphynx 2 AD/DA Converter

The most advanced and sonically transparent audio converter ever developed. The Sphynx2 is based on Digital Audio Denmark's high quality multi bit converter and modulator design, using a 5 bit delta sigma modulator running at 128fs. Sphynx2 offers A/D and D/A conversion in PCM up-tp 192 kHz, DSD at 64fs or 128fs and DXD at a sample-rate of 352.8 kHz. Sphynx2 covers applications for music recording as well as mastering and monitoring in DSD.
