MYKERINOS - I/O Options

The Mykerinos card is designed with a modular daughter card architecture
 providing the most flexible solution in terms of I/O including
ADAT, SDIF, TDIF , AES-EBU and/or MADI formats within
 the form factor of a single half length PCI slot.

Up to 8 Mykerinos DSP Audio cards can be installed within a single Pyramix system,
 each with a dedicated I/O daughter card, although we doubt you will ever need quite this much power...

It does mean that you can mix and match different I/O formats to suite your needs. 
For example, if you need AES/EBU and TDIF inputs and outputs, 
or MADI and SDIF, it's not a problem for Pyramix!
