In an unprecedented move since the latest restructuring of the US based
Waveframe Company that would have left all Waveframe Frameworks customers out in the cold,
Merging Technologies are offering a rescue package in the form of a software upgrade to Merging’s Pyramix system.
Merging Technologies, the Swiss based Manufacturer of the Pyramix DAW, designed and manufactured the hardware platform for the Waveframe 7 and Frameworks systems under an OEM arrangement. The Frameworks software was also a slimmed down and rebadged version of Merging’s Pyramix system.
“Waveframe have stated”, explained Claude Cellier President of Merging, “the downsizing and restructuring of Waveframe will only continue to support Waveframe 7 users. This will leave those customers who invested in the Frameworks system with no support and no future development. This is totally unacceptable and could potentially damage the excellent reputation of Merging. As such, I felt it only right to offer all Frameworks customers the opportunity to upgrade to Pyramix. This will allow all Frameworks customers to ensure their systems continued development into the future and take advantage of the additional features of Pyramix that were not available to them under the Frameworks badge.
